* Smithers found his forever home with amazing people and other pigs to be friends with! Yay! *

Abner, Irving and Smithers are three of a group of guinea pigs surrendered to a Niagara area shelter by their owner because they had too many animals. The shelter separated the boys from the girls, and then they separated Smithers from the other boys because he was getting picked on. Poor guy is by himself now, but in an enclosure right next to the other two so he’s not completely isolated.
These sweet piggies were very happy to be out of the noisy shelter and safe and warm in their foster home. We had Smithers neutered so he can find a forever home with a solo female. Now that he’s healed from surgery, Smithers is ready to find his forever home!
Here’s a note from Smithers’ foster mom:
“Smithers is one of the most gentle piggies I’ve ever met and he allows me to pick him up and cuddle him very easily. He is currently on his own, as he was being bullied by his brothers, and would love to meet and bond with a lonely female piggie!
He is a quiet little man, but definitely gets excited for his daily veggies and vitamin c wafers. (his favourites are cilantro and radicchio!) He would do very well in a quiet and calm household.”
