Her innate connection with animals makes her the perfect advocate for their well-being. Lisa personally rescues animals from high-volume shelters and ensures they find loving foster homes and receive necessary vet care before being adopted into forever homes.

Beyond her tireless work in animal rescue, Lisa is also an incredibly gifted singer and songwriter, adding a unique dimension to her already impressive repertoire of talents.

Introducing Janine Stoll, the brilliant co-founder of Ladybird, who wears multiple hats as our resident creative genius, tech nerd, and problem solver. With a remarkable background in songwriting, band management, and over 20 years of freelance experience in web and graphic design, Janine brings a diverse skill set to our charity.

Her creativity knows no bounds, as she spearheads our creative content and branding efforts, ensuring that Ladybird’s message is conveyed with excellence. But her contributions don’t stop there; Janine also plays a crucial role behind the scenes, overseeing the operational workings of our organization.

Thanks to Janine’s knowledge and unwavering passion, we can rescue and support countless animals, making a significant impact on their lives. Ladybird owes a great deal of its success to her invaluable contributions.

Melissa McClelland

Fundraising Manager

Meet Melissa McClelland, the spirited co-founder of Ladybird, who has a natural flair for spreading the word. Whether it’s from the stages where she performs with her band Whitehorse (check them out here) or even from the back of a touring van, Melissa passionately promotes the mission of Ladybird.

Not only is she an incredible musician, but Melissa also dedicates herself to the nitty-gritty tasks behind the scenes, diligently spearheading Ladybird fundraising efforts, grant writing, and other crucial responsibilities.

Melissa’s efforts go beyond just our local community; she takes the Ladybird message far and wide, raising awareness about animal welfare and uniting people from all walks of life. With her infectious enthusiasm, Melissa plays a pivotal role in the success and impact of our organization.
