Coral was found as a “stray” and brought to Toronto Animal Services. No owner came forward to claim Coral, and we were happy to take her in when a foster home opened up. Coral is doing well in her foster home so far, though she is a bit shy.

Coral has a vet visit coming up to make sure she’s healthy and hopefully not pregnant. We’ll have an update for you after the vet visit.

Guinea pigs need much more room than the typical pet store guinea pig cages offer. Here are some examples of appropriate cages pigs can live happily in, so that they have lots of room to move around and explore:
