Gemma was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when her owner could no longer care for her. Ladybird was happy to get this sweet girl out of the shelter when a foster home became available. Gemma had a vet visit on her rescue day and was given a clean bill of health. She is now settling in nicely in the large enclosure her foster family have provided for her. She’s having a great time digging tunnels through the bedding and running on her wheel.
Gemma will be available for adoption soon!
As gerbils do best in pairs or groups, we will be asking that there be other female, or neutered male gerbils in her new home for her to be friends with.
