Quigley
* Quigley has been adopted by a wonderful family! *
Quigley was brought into Hamilton Animal Services as a stray. He had an open wound underneath one of his wings, so shelter staff reached out to us for help. We got Quigley out of the shelter and straight to the vet where he was examined and put on medication. Thanks to time, love and expert care from his foster family, Quigley healed from his ordeal, and now he’s ready to start the search for his forever home!
Here’s a note from Quigley’s foster mom:
“Over the past few weeks Quigley has been recovering well in his foster home. Found as a stray he was brought to animal control with wounds to his left wing and chest. With time, pain management and love Quigley has made a full recovery.
Quigley is a very happy budgie and sings all day long. He enjoys 80s hair metal and loves singing to the birds outside. He shares his foster home with a big dog who he is not afraid of. As for cats and other birds we are not sure how he would react. Since he is still quite young we are confident he will adopt well to new bird friends.”
