She had her two very young kittens with her, one of which had passed away by the time they got to the shelter. The other baby was so sick, he was beyond help. The poor little one was humanely euthanized to end his suffering. The shelter started Saffy on medication to help her through her severe respiratory illness, and with time, she thankfully recovered. No owner came forward to claim Saffy, despite her being at the shelter for an extended period of time. When a foster home opened… read more >>

Poor Sailor had plucked his chest and, and his nails were overgrown when he got to the shelter. We were happy to spring Sailor out of the shelter and he went straight to the vet for a health check and a DNA test to confirm his gender. The test confirmed that he is male. Sailor will spend… read more >>
